January Coffee, Donuts and Comradery Recap

Our first Coffee, Donuts, and Comradery for 2022 took place at Bair’s Indian Motorcycle the morning of January 8th. About a dozen members attended including most of the officers (a few were out sick), some friends from the Cleveland chapter, and one of our newest members, Mike H., who recently purchased a 2022 Challenger. Coffee and donuts were graciously provided by Bair’s.

After everyone had a chance to fuel up and socialize a bit our VP, John Breda, gathered us together and gave a recap of the holiday party. He also spoke about the upcoming axe throwing event and some of our other winter plans. As always John kept it short, sweet, and to the point.

Next up was our Membership Director, Chris Weisgarber, with a presentation about the upcoming Southeast Iron Butt Tour to benefit Operation Homefront. Chris did the ride last summer and is planning to do it again this year. Chris had a great PowerPoint with maps, photos, and lots of details. He gave everyone a great overview of both the ride itself and the after-ride festivities and events. He also spent time answering everyone’s questions. The one notable difference this year is the starting location. Last year Chris rode with a group out of Columbus. This year Bair’s is a sponsor so the group will be able to start in Canton! As of today there are six riders registered to ride with us. For more details check out our news article about the event.

Once the presentations were done the meeting was officially over, but many of us stayed for a while catching up and chatting about our favorite subject - motorcycles. We had plenty of coffee, donuts, and comradery to go around!
