Route 6 Recap

For this being my first long ride ever with this group, it was a pretty good ride. The weather definitely cooperated with us, it stayed away the entire day and it made the ride by The Lakes even better. Ride started in the country roads, a very calm ride, easy going like a Summer breeze. The number of riders was just perfect, even had a new rider show up. We of the IMRG 1963, showed him a good time, and hope he comes back.

Our band of merry riders set forth on this journey with no particular place to go. Rode up Hwy 83, it was a little boring but it was good. We turned our metal steeds to Route 6 and see the majestic water of Lake Erie. And all the beautiful cottages on the shore were very nice to see as well. We broke tradition a little and tried a whole village to partake in nourishment… Thirsty Pony… the atmosphere was something to talk about, the service was not as fitting for our knights & maidens but it wasn’t too bad. The band decided not to visit The Land of Marblehead Lighthouse, to save it for another trip.

The journey home was vast but our merry gang was braving on. The road were clear, and our journey was coming to an end. Some partake in the yummy, frozen treats that come from the Land of Dairy Queen, others continued on their journeys home.

Until the next adventure, stay safe & eyes forward!!!!!
