Big Mac Ride was Pure Michigan
By Kevin Irwin, Web Master and Ride Leader
This year’s overnighter was a three-day, two-night adventure into Michigan. The group rode through the Tunnel of Trees, ate lunch at the famed Legs Inn, crossed the Mackinac Bridge, and partied on Mackinac Island.
Nine chapter members made the 1,047-mile round trip in beautiful but hot weather. Good food, good friends, and great roads made for great memories on this epic trip.
I had considered this trip for years and was glad it made it onto the group ride calendar.
Special thanks to Tim Rastetter for being my sweep. Check out the video below and if you interested look over our itinerary. Big Mac Overnighter.
