5.1.21 - Lakes Ride

A small but valiant group of seven riders braved crisp morning air for a trip around Atwood, Leesville, and Tappan Lakes. The ride was outstanding and more enjoyable as the temperatures rose in the afternoon.

Lunch was one highlight of the ride. The Western Grill in Bowerston is a diner for the ages. Great food, fantastic service, and great company made this a fantastic stop. If you are in Bowerton OH, stop for lunch and tell them the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group from North Canton sent you!

After lunch we found some docks on Tappan Lake for a group picture and then Randy R. Led us on Deersville Rd past Tappan State Park. We then used Moravian and Feed Spring Roads to get to Route 800. This little jaunt was a pleasant surprise with some challenging curvy roads. There is some good roads down there between Tippecanoe and Tappan Lake that need to be explored further.

Ride Leader Tom Johnson put together a great ride. Thanks Tom!
