April’s First Monthly Meeting was No Joke!
By Kevin Irwin
IMRG Chapter #1963 held its first regular monthly meeting on April 4th with 16 members in attendence.
President Tom Johnson started the meeting right at 7pm.
Pet Rescue Update - After visiting a local rescue, the search for a local pet rescue continues. A new suggestion was Paws Fur Life which serves Canton/Massillon Ohio. Once this is confirmed, not only will a cash donation be made from the T-shirt sale, but the chapter will be working with Bair’s to launch a supply drive. Stay tuned!
IMRG Regional Coordinator Bryan Moore dropped in for a meet and greet, as well as provide an IMRG update. There is currently no President for the IMRG - there will be news soon on how that will be filled. There are ongoing discussion about creating regional patches. Finally, he shared some news that Indian Motorcycle confirmed they are sticking with current branding. They asked chapters to refrain from engaging hecklers in social media.
Regional Coordinator Bryan Moore also highlighted a Regional Ride in Gettysburg on June 1st though the 3rd. Check out these links

AMA Road Captain Training
Jerry attended a session near Columbus and found it very informative. He reported as a chapter that we follow many of the best practices recommended in the training. He recommended it for all, and is looking into becoming certified to conduct the training himself.
This generated conversations that Pro Rider Cleveland offers a course that is highly recommended.
